The Cranbury Public Library is at 23 North Main Street behind the Town Hall. The library is located in the Cranbury School Building.

From Plainsboro Road and areas north:
Take North Main Street south towards the center of town. Just before the white Methodist Church take a right going towards the Town Hall. Drive towards the back. Look for the Cranbury Public Library sign over our door.

From Old Trenton Road and areas south:
Take South Main Street north towards the center of town. After passing the lake take a left just past the white Methodist Church going towards the Town Hall. Drive towards the back. Look for the Cranbury Public Library sign over our door.

Our community's interests, love of reading and life-long learning, and commitment to our children drive the Cranbury Public Library.

As the community's knowledge service center, the library is a welcoming setting offering information, a diversified collection of books and recreational media, helpful staff and innovative technology.

Board of Trustees

The Cranbury Public Library Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing policy affecting the administration of the Library, shall prepare an annual budget, shall exercise control of all library funds and assure that these funds are duly expended and accounted for, shall hire and appoint a library director, shall approve staff positions in the library, and shall determine compensation for all employees.

The Board was increased from eight to nine members in January of 2008. The Mayor and the superintendent of schools, or their designated representatives, account for two members. The Mayor appoints the other seven members who serve for terms of five years. The Library Board of Trustees meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Thomas Gambino Meeting Room at the Cranbury Public Library.
